Computer Labs & Workstations

Below is a list of computer labs and workstations located in Milne Library.

Reference Study Area

This area on the south-west corner of the main level has 40 Dell (Windows XP) computers, one iMac, one color and two black and white HP LaserJets.

Genesee Valley Study Area

In the north-west corner of the main level are three study rooms and a large open study space. There are 21 PC's, one iMac and an two HP LaserJet printers available.

Creation Stations

These five high-end workstations have scanners attached and some special applications for scanning and multimedia projects. An HP color LaserJet printer is available. Located on the main level of Milne Library.

Milne 104 (Lower Lab)

Located on the lower level of Milne Library, the Lower Lab is scheduled for classes much of the day. There are 40 PC's available for use as well as one Teaching Station available for instructors.

TERC (Teacher Education Resource Center)

There are six Dell computers as well as a PC specifically set up to run TERC software. These computers are located on the lower level of Milne Library.

Serials Office

There are two PC's and an HP laser printer located outside the Serials Office on the lower level of Milne Library.

Accessibility Workstation

All library computers are equipped with software to assist persons with disabilities. Each library computer has the Kurzweil Reading software installed on it, and also the JAWS Screen Reader, Magic Screen Magnification software and Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition software.
