My Network Drive:

Each student has 50MB of space on the Geneseo Network. You can directly access this drive from any computer on campus by following these steps:

  • Go to Start - Run
  • Type \\files\home$\username then press OK
  • This is your personal storage space where you can store all of your files.

Guest Printing:

If you are a guest and need access to a computer, you may ask a Tech Help student or a Reference Librarian to log you in. Guest print jobs must be picked up at the Circulation Desk for $.10 a page. Color pages are $.50 per page and may also be picked up at Circulation Desk.

Geneseo User Printing:

SUNY Geneseo users may print to any of the printers in Milne Library. You may also go to Milne Library Printers and check the status of any printer in the library.

I STILL NEED HELP!!:

  • If you need any assistance on any computer problems please call Library Tech Help at 245-5608. Or you may IM Steve Dresbach, the Library Technology Instructor, at "milnesoftwaresup."
  • If you are in the Lower Lab and need help, just use the phone on the column in the middle of the room. All you have to do is pick it up and Library Tech Help will answer it.
  • You may also send an email to the Library Technology Specialist and get an answer to your questions.
