Overdue Fees

All library material must be returned by the due date.

Overdue items accrue fines at the rate listed below:

General Circulating Collection $0.25 per day
Videos $0.25 per day
Music CDs, audio tapes and phonodiscs $0.25 per day
Genesee Valley Collection $0.25 per day
Curriculum $0.25 per day
Reserve Collection
2-hour and 4-hour		 $0.50 per hour
CD players $0.50 per hour
Headphones $0.50 per hour
1-, 3-, and 7-day $0.50 per hour
Humanities Collections $0.50 per hour
Laptops** $5.00 per hour
Digital Cameras** $10.00 per day
GPS Units** $15.00 per day

**The maximum fine on any one item is $15.00 except for laptops, digital cameras, and GPS units which have a maximum fine of $50.00.

Overdue notices are sent, as a courtesy to users, by Milne Library. Failure to receive notices does not exempt the user from paying late fees.

All library users are billed for damaged or lost materials. The charge for lost items is $70.00 (except for laptops, digital cameras, scanners, and GPS units -- these would be a higher amount depending on the current market value of the item). If the item is overdue at the time it is declared damaged, late fees will also be charged.
