WELCOME TO MILNE LIBRARY!

   In today's session, students will . . .

By the end of the session, students should be able to . . .

  • clearly explain the topic of their research paper

  • understand the differences between scholarly and popular publications

  • recognize the citation for a journal article, a book, and a book chapter

  • choose appropriate databases to find journal articles on a chosen topic

  • Use GLOCAT and Worldcat to identify useful books

  • locate materials in the library

  • properly cite the resources found to avoid plagiarism
