Library instruction

The mission of Milne Library’s instruction program is to educate and assist library users with their research needs. The academic faculty librarians accomplish this by collaborating with teaching professors to support course objectives and specific assignments in student-centered instruction.

Library instruction focuses on three broad goals:

  • Locate information using library resources.
  • Evaluate information for credibility and authority.
  • Integrate information into projects.

Request library instruction through this online form. Please be sure to make your requests at least one week in advance of the library class.
