Good for searching for humanities articles in full text, but it can be difficult to ensure that the articles you find are specifically written by historians.
Excellent for searching for books online. Will get you more results than using GLOCAT, but suffers from a poorer interface and the fact that it will dump you into GLOCAT every time you need to order a book.
Great for finding a grab bag of scholarly articles, but suffers from inconsistent access, and is difficult to discern whether each author is a historian.
Great for finding large numbers of books and for checking out a book to see if it is worth ordering; Suffers from inconsistent access, and the snippets can be a trap, as they are likely to cut out right before the author reverses the point.
