Class Exercise
- Split into groups of no more than 3
- Your group will be searching for credible information on the following topic:
- What did [insert company of choice here] do to address an issue of diversity, equity, or inclusion?
- One group member must use the Wall Street Journal (or news site); one group member should google the answer and look at the AI generated summary answers; and one group member should ask ChatGpt.
- For each method, find out where each of the sources got their facts. That means, for each factual statement, track down the original source and write down where they got it from (where possible), or record where the source says they got the information from.
- Compare the various sources; how easy were they to use when you factor in the need to fact check their information?
