Access the New York Times: TimesMachine

TimesMachine is a searchable interface of digitized pages of New York Times issues published between 1851 and 2002. Articles published between 1851 and 1980 are available to download as PDF files. Each of us is allowed up to 100 downloads per month.

Access TimesMachine in one of two ways:

1. When logged into the New York Times website, go to the following URL: https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/browser
2. When logged into the New York Times website, navigate to the left menu in the top left corner of the screen. Select More, and click on TimesMachine.
