Black Studies and Africana Studies: Getting Started

Black Studies and Africana Studies are interdisciplinary programs, encompassing the history, arts, sociology, politics, and economics of the people of Africa and the African Diaspora. Each program intend to broaden the students' perception of cultural diversity and to gain a deeper understanding of cultures. This research guide will introduce students to a variety of resources they can consult to learn and support their arguments when exploring these topic in class or their papers.
