HIFA (Healthcare Information For All) is a global social movement to improve the availability and use of reliable healthcare information and reduce the harms of misinformation. It has more than 20,000 members (health workers, librarians, publishers, researchers, policymakers...) and works closely with the World Health Organization.

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is the specialized international health agency for the Americas. It works with countries throughout the region to improve and protect people's health.

WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system.
