Curriculum Support

The Studio and Milne Library Publishing support Geneseo faculty and their courses which incorporate publishing or bookmaking in some form. Support could include workshops on digital publishing software, one-time hands-on projects, or support for longer projects. Contact Allison Brown to learn more.

These are the current areas we support, but please get in touch if you have more ideas for how the Studio can work with your course:

  • printing and word art
  • simple book binding
  • digital publishing

In case you want some examples to spark your creativity, here are a few ideas:

  • Writing, printing, and binding a chapbook or zine
  • Making a journal to use for class notes or reflections
  • Making a visual representation of a key word or concept that can be combined into a visual glossary for the class.
  • Designing an infographic to showcase a key concept or data
  • A personal or collective commonplace book to collect course related quotes and tidbits--digital or physical
