The Plagiarism Tutorial supported by the library is now available in Brightspace. The tutorial provides students with examples of plagiarism and strategies or avoiding it. Students must self-enroll in the tutorial in order to complete it.

Self-Enroll in the Plagiarism Tutorial:

  (you must be signed into My.Geneseo.edu in order for the URL to work)
• You will also find a section for self-enroll courses on your Brightspace homepage just past “My Courses.”

The online Library Research Skills Tutorial is a self-enroll course that provides students with an introduction to the college library’s services and basic research strategies. These strategies include searching the Academic Search Complete Database, locating materials in GLOCAT (the library’s catalog), requesting materials via IDS, and citing sources. This tutorial is designed to supplement the INTD 105 library instruction program, but will benefit any student who needs to brush up on the library tools available to them.
