Open educational resources continue to improve in both quantity and quality. They have the potential to release both students and professors at Geneseo from the restrictions of mass-produced textbooks, and to allow for extensive customization of course materials.
This event will include discussions in a variety of formats about the potentials and challenges of adopting, adapting, and building open textbooks and resources. Join us on May 20th in Milne Library from 10 a.m. — 12 p.m. to explore the potential of these open educational resources at SUNY Geneseo!
Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop in order to actively participate in the breakout sessions. For those who wish to tag the event on social media, the hashtag is #OERSymposium2019.
