Pursuing Curricular Innovation: An open education symposium: 2017

Join us for an afternoon of conversations, workshops, and panel discussions around open education practices, textbooks, and resources.

Keynote and Panel

Open educational resources continue to improve in both quantity and quality. They have the potential to release both students and professors at Geneseo from the restrictions of mass-produced textbooks, and to allow for extensive customization of course materials.

This event will include discussions in a variety of formats about the potentials and challenges of adopting, adapting, and building open textbooks and resources. Join us on May 15th in Bailey Hall to explore the potential of these open educational resources at SUNY Geneseo!

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop in order to actively participate in the breakout sessions. For those who wish to tag the event on social media, the hashtag is #OERSymposium2017.
