Anthropology

This subject guide provides reliable resources pertaining to the study of human beings and the human condition.

Part 1: Background Information

You will need to find an artist your group is interested in researching.

You can start by picking a specific art piece, culture, time period, medium, or artist, then investigate from there. Here are some websites with potential ideas:

When you have an idea you are comfortable with, record your idea, a link to a webpage about it, and your group member names to this Padlet.

Part 2: Online Sources

Using Google, try to locate 2 to 3 potential sources from reputable sources. Pay attention to the language being used in these sources! The references and further reading sections on Wikipedia can be a great place to start, but Wikipedia itself is not a reliable online source. Remember, your sources need to have an actual person's name attached to them as the author! As you read through them, continue to add to your concept map and make note of which sources are most helpful.
