Where to look for books
Where are the books?
We have books located on all levels of the library. The upper level will have most of our books.
The main level holds our Reference books. Reference books will have "ref" at the start of the call number, and many of these will be Encyclopedias, Dictionaries and similar types of resources. The Lower Level holds our Young Adult and Juvenile resources, these will start with a "ya" or a "juv"
We have books in other collections around the library as well. If you cannot seem to find something, make sure to ask a librarian and we'll be happy to assist you.
Where to begin?
STEP 1: Find books by searching for your topic in GLOCAT + on the main page of the library's website.
Step 2: Limit your search to books under Content Type.
Step 3: Limit your search to the appropriate terms under Subject Terms (you may need to click more). Be sure to write down both the titles and call numbers (see box to the right) of the books you find.
