…you follow the same sentence structure as the original source you are paraphrasing, but you change a few of the words. Even if you cite it, you are still plagiarizing.
…you borrow an idea or interpretation of facts and describe it entirely in your own words but fail to cite it.
…you assume that the professor will assume that the footnote or in-text citation at the end of a paragraph covers more than just the last sentence.
