How to use GLOCAT to search our Library Catalog, and how to use IDS to request items from other libraries.

What is GLOCAT?

GLOCAT is a single search box that allows to search for books, ebooks, articles, reviews and more, all in one place.

Highlights

  • Focus your results by selecting your preferred disciplines.
  • Use "Expand My Results" to increase the number of results. 
  • Easy search for books, articles, audio visuals and more.
  • Pin your favorite titles to save them in "My favorites" list. 
  • Ask for our 16 weeks loan period for physical materials!

Importance of Signing In

You can perform a search without signing in, however, you need to "Sign In" to make use of the following features: 

  • Save your favorite titles and create favorites lists
  • Access saved searches and search history
  • Requesting materials from other libraries  through "IDS Request" 
  • Renew books and other library materials
  • Verify the status of your library loans
